Estidama Al-Hayat, an officially registered Lebanese NGO (#363/ad), is dedicated to making sustainability a way of life through innovation, awareness, and community action. We champion green development, environmental responsibility, and resilient communities.
Estidama Al-Hayat provides science-based solutions for sustainable development in design, construction, and resource management. We work alongside institutions, municipalities, businesses, and communities to protect the environment while promoting long-term resilience and responsible growth.

Rima Sorour
Rima Sorour is an architect, sustainability strategist, author, and environmental advocate with more than 35 years of international experience in architecture, urban development, and sustainable design across the MENA region. She is recognized for advancing green building practices, climate resilience, and sustainable development through leadership, innovation, and collaboration with professional organizations, public institutions, and civil society. Through her practice, advisory work, publications, and advocacy, Rima is committed to creating resilient, resource-efficient, and people-centered built environments that contribute to a more sustainable future.
Rami Tarabay
Rami is an energy and sustainability expert with more than 15 years of experience, and holding several international certifications (PMP, CEM, CIEP, CMVP, PCF, CWEP, LEED AP, BREEAM AP, EDGE Expert, GSAS CGP, Estidama PQP). He is experienced in international green building rating systems, energy management, commercial and industrial energy auditing, energy performance contracting and green financing.
Razan Zaiter
Razan is an environmental health professional and researcher with expertise in strategic communications, content marketing, and project management. Combining backgrounds in business, biology, and environmental health, she develops initiatives that bridge science, communication, and sustainability. Her interests include toxicology, health risk assessment, environmental planning, environmental policy, conservation, and ecology. She holds degrees in Business Marketing, Biology, as well as a Master’s degree in Environmental Health.
Sana Al Sirawan
Sana is a structural engineer specializing in environmental sustainability. She holds a Master’s degree in Structural Civil Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin, USA, and an Environmental Diploma from WEDC, Loughborough University, UK. With nearly four decades of public sector experience, she served in senior leadership roles across Lebanon’s Ministry of Public Works & Transport, Ministry of Environment, and the Prime Minister’s Office, retiring as Director General of Engineering Affairs. She also represented Lebanon in several international environmental initiatives and continues to lead environmental advocacy through her roles with the Order of Lebanese Engineers and the Lebanese Council of Women.
Talal Al Housseiny
Talal currently leads data science and software products at Massive Dynamics in Princeton, NJ. He has vast experience in data science and machine learning having built enterprise analytics and AI solutions for the world’s largest Consumer Packaged Goods and Retail companies. Talal is passionate about the use of clean energy and sustainable technologies to disrupt traditional sectors and industries, especially packaging and construction. Talal contributed many inventions to the field of sustainable packaging and holds a dozen granted US patents. He holds a PhD in Chemical Engineering from Princeton University and a BSc in Chemical Engineering from Purdue University.
