About the Event

As part of its commitment to promoting environmental awareness and sustainable lifestyles, ESTIDAMA organized an eco-trip to the 4th Annual Grape Day in Rashaya, West Bekaa, on 6 October 2019. The excursion introduced participants to the region’s rich natural landscapes, agricultural heritage, and eco-tourism initiatives.

The day included guided nature walks, visits to local vineyards and traditional grape presses, a showcase of locally produced food and handicrafts, cultural performances, and an authentic village lunch. Through this experience, ESTIDAMA encouraged responsible tourism, supported local communities and small producers, and highlighted the importance of preserving Lebanon’s environmental and cultural heritage while fostering community engagement and sustainable rural development.
